Library

The guild provides an extensive library of books about quilting, wearable art, and doll making. Books may be checked-out at the general guild meeting from 6:30 until 7:00 and during the break. Active books are available for review at these times. Books that have not been checked-out during the prior 12 months are moved into the library reserve. These books are kept in the guild storage area, but will be made available for check-out upon member request. The listing of available books, both active and reserve as of February 2010, is contained on this page and a printed current listing is available in the library during general guild meetings.

In order to ensure that only current guild members check-out the guild’s books, guild membership cards must be presented when checking-out books. Members may borrow up to 5 books at a time. The due date for the return of books is the following general guild meeting. Late fees are $2.00 per book, per month.

Books may be renewed for one month if another guild member has not requested it. Books may be renewed one time. You may call or send an e-mail to any one of the librarians to renew a book. The current librarians are listed on the Standing Committees section of the about us page on this site.
