I am used to spending a lot of time in my sewing
room. Now, I seem to be spending all my time there. Of course, I'm
spending the time looking at all the blocks on my President's quilt,
as well as the back of the quilt. I am overwhelmed with the
creativity and originality of everyone. This is a one of a kind
treasure! It lights up my room as well as my life. To think that so
much time and effort was put into my quilt, just awes me. Thank you
everyone for all the "notions", "sewing supplies",
hearts, flowers and everything that I could possibly want in a
sewing room.
I enjoyed my term of office and appreciate every
board member, every volunteer, every member for all that was done to
make the year run smoothly and to make it a fun year. My quilt and my
wonderful photo album will be a lifetime of remembrances of this year.
I will bring my quilt to the November meeting in
case you missed it in October. If your name on your block got cut off
in the assembly process, please sign it again. I'll have my pen with me.
Meanwhile, back to the sewing room!
