December 12, 2024

Santa says Ho, Ho, Ho, but we quilters say Sew, Sew, Sew and that’s the theme of our holiday party!

Have a gadget in your sewing room that you just don’t use anymore? Or have a gadget that you love that you’d like to share? Bring it wrapped to our meeting and we’ll swap with fellow members.

Have a wild holiday sweater? (I refuse to call them ugly.) Wear it to the party.  The most “unusual” sweater will win a prize.

Wear you holiday pjs or anything comfy and cozy. Bring your favorite mugs for hot cocoa yumminess.

Holiday Refreshments: Hospitality will host their North Pole Hot Cocoa station.  Members are invited to bring holiday refreshments on a throw away serving dish.
Last Names A - I:  bring an appetizer
Last Names J - Z: bring something sweet

President's Message - December 2024

The holidays are approaching quickly. Are you ready? Not sure how it happened, but I am ready! Bring on the holiday cheer. For the first time in many years, we as a family will all be together for Thanksgiving. Celebrating with our two daughters, spouses and five grandchildren will be the best.

Talking about being thankful, I am so thankful for this guild and all you ladies and gents. Everyone is willing and able to just jump in and help out with whatever problem we are facing. A big Thank You to Jean Impey for getting the projector up and running for our last meeting. We, as a group, are a well-oiled machine!

I have set aside my Tea and Tour Challenge, but realize I need to get back on it. I don’t have much left to do, but the deadline is near. Have you got your ticket and Challenge fabrics? You won’t want to miss this fun event. You can get your ticket at our general meetings.

Laura Chambers has planned a fun packed event for our December meeting. It will be a time to relax and enjoy your Quilty friends! Have a Happy and Joyous Holiday Season.
